2026 Inlight Annual Research Symposium Poster Presentations

Inlight Student Mental Health Research invites abstract submissions for poster presentations at the 2026 Annual Research Symposium, taking place on May 6th at the Schwartz Reismann Innovation Centre, UofT St George Campus). 

The poster & networking session will provide a platform for students, faculty, & staff to share research focused on student mental health and wellness. Participants will be able to connect with a tri-campus community of knowledge users and spark meaningful conversations that promote evidence-based solutions across the post-secondary landscape.

Eligibility

We will be doing light screening to determine your project’s relevance to student mental health and wellness, UofT campus activities and engagement, and conducting the research in a manner that is safe and appropriate, and we hope to accept as many submissions as possible. Applicants are welcome to apply to bring posters they have previously presented at other venues.   

Applicants are also asked to attend other sessions at the 2026 Inlight Annual Symposium to learn more about our initiatives and hear from leading professionals in this space. 

  • Projects must have a primary focus on post-secondary student mental health, which is inclusive of mental wellness, mental illness and substance misuse. It encompasses the full length of a student’s journey, from transitions into post-secondary education to graduation, and the full range of student mental health experience, from community and individual well-being to clinical intervention, inside the classroom and out.    
  • Projects that are in progress are eligible for participation as long as they have sufficient materials 
    Poster Criteria

    You will be required to print your own poster.  Successful applicants are welcome to bring posters they have previously presented at other venues.  

    If creating a new poster, the recommended size is 4 feet high by 3 feet wide (PORTRAIT orientation).
