Inlight works with a Student Advisory Committee composed of current graduate and undergraduate students from across the three University of Toronto campuses to ensure the representation, prioritization, and engagement of diverse student voices in student mental health research and related activities across the University of Toronto.

2026-2027 Priorities
As part of their mandate each term, the Student Advisory Committee supports a number of priorities identified by the the previous cohort.
The 2026-2027 Student Advisory Committee are addressing three main priorities.
Priority One - Engagement
Support the engagement and development of a broad student network, ensuring students are represented across the activities of Inlight and have the right resources to engage in mental health research at UofT.
Priority Two - Research Collaboration
Collaborate as research partners on Inlight-funded and affiliated research, policy, and program activities, including the identification of priorities, study design and methods, interpretation of findings, and dissemination of results.
