Student Engagement
Resources
We are excited to share templates and resources to support the development of student engagement strategies in postsecondary student mental health research.
These resources have been co-designed with students, staff, and faculty researchers and provide foundational knowledge to build capacity to conduct research in post-secondary student mental health – establishing common language, competencies, and values for engagement of students in these activities.
If you are referencing or adapting content for your own student engagement activities, please give credit to Inlight as indicated in the resource.
Post-Secondary Student Mental Health Research Training Series
The three modules have been co-designed with students, staff, and faculty researchers and are designed to both advance student capacity in post-secondary mental health research and student engagement, and to support staff and faculty to engage post-secondary students in research roles.
Key Principles of Student Engagement
In collaboration with post-secondary student advisors from the Student Advisory Committee and researchers, the Inlight engagement team co-developed key principles of student engagement in mental health research. The principles outlined in this resource are based on learnings from previous research and research-adjacent activities and guided by community-engaged research principles.
Eight Best Practices for Student Engagement
