Global Speaker Series: Exploring Strategies & Practices for Campus-Community Partnerships to Support Student Mental Health and Wellness

Join us for the next Global Speaker Series event, “Explore Strategies & Practices for Campus-Community Partnerships to Support Student Mental Health and Wellness”, on April 25th, 2025 at 11:00 am EST | 4:00 pm BST | 10:00 am CST.

This virtual panel will feature insights from U of T leaders, including Myra Fahim (Assistant Director, Health Promotion and Evaluation, UTM), Aden Ahmed (MA Student, Global Mental Health & Counselling Psychology), and Sandali Vithanage (Vice-President, UTM Mental Health Student Association). Together, they will explore the dimensions of effective partnerships, challenges and opportunities in implementation, and student perspectives on what meaningful support looks like.

The Global Speaker Series highlights the latest research in post-secondary student mental health around the world. This series provides the opportunity for faculty and students of all levels to present their interests and expertise in the interdisciplinary field of student mental health.

This will be a one hour session.
