2024 Inlight Research Symposium Recap

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the 2024 Inlight Annual Symposium! Held in May during Mental Health week, this year’s symposium engaged over 100 students, staff, and researchers from across U of T tri-campuses to explore more inclusive, holistic approaches to student mental health.

Inlight’s strategic priority of  co-creation was especially demonstrated between mental health researchers and knowledge users in the sessions planned by members of Inlight’s leadership team and the student advisory committee. Through such opportunities , participants engaged in insightful discussions, actively voicing how valuable it is to bridge mental health research and practice.

Overall, the core aim for this year’s symposium was to celebrate the progress made and spark the foundation for Inlight’s future activities through newly established connections between different communities coming from a range of disciplines.
