From Values to Action: Student Co-Created Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Modules for Post-Secondary Student Mental Health Research

Join us on Monday, November 2nd from 12:00–1:00 pm EST | 12:00 pm BST for the return of our virtual Global Speaker Series.

Researcher Dr. Sandy Rao and student advisors Khushi Patel and Bilal Qureshi explore practical supports to embed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) principles in post-secondary student mental health research. Presenters will introduce student co-created online modules, showing how these resources can support students in navigating research participation while also helping researchers examine and strengthen the conditions they create for equitable participation. Presenters will also reflect on the processes of co-creation, and how EDI shows up in the everyday decisions students make when joining and participating in mental health research.

Postsecondary students, researchers, faculty, staff, and interested community members are encouraged to attend!
